The lagoon town of Comacchio has preserved the original appearance of its long history. Visiting the historic center is an experience that leaves an indelible memory and will make you come back not only for a pleasant walk in its pedestrian area but also for its culinary specialties based on fish. Among the monuments not to be missed are the unmistakable Trepponti, the Cathedral and the Museum of the Ancient Delta. The enchantment of its canals interspersed with authentic seventeenth-century bridges and the nearby Valli di Comacchio will give you a romantic setting for your stay in the little Venice in any month of the year.
A few kilometers away, you can reach the fine sandy beaches of Lidi ferraresi where beach resorts offer excellent catering and entertainment services. Comacchio and the beaches are also served by a dense network of cycling trails and paths that are absolutely not to be missed.
